Acteon is a very enthusiastic dog that has been a pleasure to train. Very keen to pick up new tasks, he moved through his gradings quickly, obtaining first place in each one. Our obedience trial partnership started in 2008 with Acteon gaining his ‘Community Companion Dog’ and ‘Companion Dog’ titles within 12 months. We are continuing to expand Acteons training and are now training for Open obedience (CDX), tracking, and endurance.

Although not shown very often due to obedience commitments, Acteon had great success a young dog receiving multiple 'Very Promising', ‘Best Minor Puppy in Show’and 'Very Good' with Acteon retiring from the show ring 2009 with a grading of ‘Excellent’ by Mr I Cooke:

CRITIQUE

64.5 cm Large medium strong well coloured and pigmented dog of good type, good head and expression, normal wither, firm back, very good croup, good fore-chest development, slightly short under-chest, good forequarter, the upper arm could be longer and better angled. Good hindquarter angulations. Steps correct coming and going, during movement shows good ground covering gait, reach and drive could be more pronounced.
Excellent.

Acteon was breed surveyed in 2009 under Mr. Greg Green, with the recommendation : Suitable for large bitches that need correction in colour and pigment.
